Supplier code of conduct

The Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the ethical, social, and environmental standards that all suppliers and their sub‑suppliers must follow when doing business with BOND47. It complements our contractual terms and applies to every division—aviation, maritime, and electronics—as well as to any third parties acting on a supplier’s behalf.

Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries where they operate and where products and services are delivered. This includes, but is not limited to, laws on anti‑bribery and corruption, competition, data protection, export control, sanctions, customs, and product safety. Suppliers may not offer, give, request, or accept any bribe or improper advantage, and must keep accurate books and records that truthfully reflect all transactions.

2. Human rights and labour standards

Suppliers must respect internationally recognized human rights and uphold fair labour practices. Forced, bonded, or involuntary labour of any kind is strictly prohibited, as is child labour that does not meet legal minimum age and education requirements. Workers must be treated with dignity and respect, without harassment, discrimination, or abuse. Suppliers must provide fair wages, reasonable working hours, and legally required benefits, and must respect employees’ rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining where permitted by law.

3. Health, safety, and working conditions

Suppliers are expected to provide a safe and healthy working environment that prevents workplace injuries and illnesses. This includes identifying and controlling hazards, providing appropriate personal protective equipment, training employees on safe working practices, and maintaining emergency preparedness and response plans. Facilities such as sanitation, drinking water, lighting, and temperature control should be adequate and well maintained, including in dormitories or accommodation provided to workers.

4. Environmental responsibility

Suppliers must comply with environmental laws and regulations and work to minimize negative impacts on the environment. This includes responsible management of chemicals and hazardous substances, efficient use of energy and water, reduction of emissions and waste, and proper disposal or recycling of materials. Suppliers are encouraged to adopt environmental management systems and continuously improve their environmental performance, especially for products and services used in safety‑critical industries.

5. Product safety, quality, and traceability

Given the sectors BOND47 serves, suppliers must ensure that all products and services meet agreed specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Only genuine, conforming parts with full traceability may be supplied; the use of counterfeit or suspect parts is strictly prohibited. Suppliers must maintain appropriate quality management systems, retain relevant records, and cooperate fully in investigations, audits, or corrective actions related to product safety or quality.

6. Fair business practices and conflicts of interest

Suppliers must conduct business fairly and transparently, avoiding anti‑competitive behaviour such as price‑fixing, bid‑rigging, or market allocation. Any actual or potential conflicts of interest involving BOND47 employees or representatives must be disclosed promptly, including family relationships, financial interests, or other situations that could improperly influence decision‑making. Gifts, hospitality, or entertainment must be modest, infrequent, and never intended to secure an improper advantage.

7. Data protection, confidentiality, and intellectual property

Suppliers must protect confidential information received from BOND47 and use it only for the agreed purpose. They must safeguard personal data in line with applicable data‑protection laws and our privacy requirements. Intellectual property belonging to BOND47 or its customers may not be copied, shared, or used without authorization, and any technology or data provided must be handled securely to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

8. Supply chain and sub‑suppliers

Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that their own suppliers, subcontractors, and agents also comply with this Code or equivalent standards. This includes cascading requirements on human rights, safety, environmental protection, and anti‑corruption, and monitoring compliance where risks are higher. On request, suppliers should be prepared to share information about their supply chain and the steps they take to manage ethical and compliance risks.

9. Monitoring, audits, and consequences

BOND47 reserves the right to assess compliance with this Supplier Code of Conduct through questionnaires, meetings, or on‑site audits, either directly or via third parties, where appropriate and with reasonable notice. Suppliers are expected to cooperate and to promptly address any identified gaps with corrective actions. Serious or repeated violations, or refusal to remedy issues, may lead to reduced business, suspension of orders, or termination of the supplier relationship.

10. Reporting concerns

Suppliers and their employees are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this Code, applicable laws, or BOND47 policies, including concerns about safety, human rights, or integrity. Reports can be made to the usual BOND47 contact or via designated reporting channels, and will be handled confidentially to the extent possible. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is not tolerated.
